Crafters and Makers are thrilled to announce that we are part of the Wirral Open Studio Tour!

The Crafters & Makers Studio will be showing some dressmaking and costume work. It will also be playing host to the amazing Mo Chalk (Jane’s mum!) who is a fantastic quilter. She has spent many years making quilts and she donates literally hundreds of them to Project Linus UK and Quilts for Care Leavers. Some of her works of art are currently decorating the walls in the studio however we will be changing these to some new pieces for the tour.

The Wirral Open Studio Tour is an event in which local artists invite the public to visit their studios, workshops and display spaces. The tour is a wonderful opportunity to talk face to face with the artists and to view their work in the environment it was created.

It is also an exciting chance to explore the various venues and answer the age-old question ‘what do artists do all day?’

The artists and makers work in a variation of disciplines including painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, glass, textiles and jewellery; so, whatever you’re interested in there will be something for you.

The Wirral Open Studio Tour will be taking place on Saturday 11th September and Sunday 12th September.
