These beautiful table mats can be used year after year, and the block can also be duplicated and sewn as a table runner.
All Fabrics and patterns all included in the class price. You will be provided with a kit to make one complete table mat using the fabrics the same as in the image shown.
You are welcome to use your own fabrics – if you choose this option, you will be provided with a requirements list. The fabrics in our kit will be pre cut to size to save time in the class, you will need to cut yours in preparation to be at the same stage for starting the class.
Ability to use a sewing machine is required as we will be using patchwork sewing techniques. Confident beginners welcome, you can learn all the techniques during the session.
Our aim is to finish a placemat on the day but everyone works at a different pace so you may need to finish your sewing at home after learning all of the techniques and practicing on the day. And if you decide to make your block into a table runner this will take a longer time to finish.
This will be a relaxed fun and christmassy session and we may even squeeze in a few mince pies along the way!
