For complete beginners or beginners with some experience who want to build sewing technique skills.
This is a class for age 8+.
During this 6 week course we will explore a range of skills to build your confidence, teach you to sew with a sewing machine and give you a portfolio of techniques to help you to sew.

- Try out sewing on a variety of different fabric types
- Explore different stitches

- Using an iron
- applique techniques
NOTE: We do not intend to make a finished project. The purpose of this course is to learn sewing techniques which will help you to feel confident with simple projects in your own time.
We will build a portfolio of techniques and samples which can be taken home for reference. Every class will be backed up with handouts and video tutorials to refer back to.
Sewing machines provided but you can bring your own machine along if you prefer.
