The After School Sewing club is for a mixture of sewing abilities,
Taught by Sarah Wyles – Advanced DBS checked tutor with experience of teaching young people how to sew for more than 10 years.
Projects will be chosen to develop new skills. We will make items such as pencil cases, bags, cushion covers and decorations using skills such as block printing, hand embroidery, free motion machine embroidery, weaving and much more.
Mondays 4.15 – 5.45pm – All abilities – beginners welcome
Suitable for ages 8 plus
There will be a maximum of 6 students in each session, to allow for each student to have plenty of attention and support from the tutor
Sessions run as a block of usually 6 weeks (sometimes 5) depending on the term length and are to be booked and paid for in advance to secure a place.
