Fashion Show clothes swap and makers market for Claire House

At The Parade Community Centre Hoylake
Friday 14th November 2025
Doors 7pm
The amazing Crafters & Makers that come to the sewing clubs make some wonderful things and we want to share them with you.
Catwalk will start at 7.30pm prompt
Join us for a fantastic evening of catwalk fun. At this exciting event, we will be sharing our makes on the catwalk and up close on the rails. You can see many hand made garments made by complete beginners and more experienced sewing enthusiasts.
Making your own clothes, using up-cycled fabrics and learning how to alter second-hand clothes are all ways that you can help to change your relationship with clothes and help the planet. Come and see what our sewing club participants have been making. Or come and show your wonderful creations
Makers market and Pre-loved Clothes boutique opens after the catwalk show
Once you’ve seen the show, we’ll open up the doors to our clothes swap and handmade boutique where there will be drinks and nibbles (included in the ticket price)
A great way to be sustainable with fashion is to keep clothes being worn for as long as possible and out of landfill. If you no longer wear something, why not give it a new life with someone else. Please see the info below about how to donate.
If you have no clothes to donate, you can still shop in the Pre-loved boutique and find a total bargain,
We will also have a stall with some hand made items for sale and a rail of handmade sample garments too.
A charity Tombola will be held at the event with a variety of lovely prizes
Cash sales only at the event
